The Holly Springs High School boys track team keeps adding to the school’s trophy case. The Hawks won their fourth straight district championship Thursday at Charleston. And the final results weren’t close. Coach
Clifford Brown’s team outdistanced second-place Lewisburg by 55 points.
The Hawks scored 143 and the Patriots 88. Byhalia finished just one
point behind Lewisburg, with 87. In girls competition, the Byhalia Lady Indians took third with 89 points and Holly Springs fourth with 77. The top four in each event go to regional competition.
