The Marshall Academy junior high track team found itself in a back-and-forth battle with host Lee (Clarksdale) April 8 for the District 1-AA championship.

Amanda Jones going to Southwest

That’s just one reason she signed H.W. Byers senior Amanda Jones to a basketball scholarship Thursday at the Marshall County school.

Potts Camp Lady Cardinals and Cardinals have enjoyed success in recent track meets.
