Potts Camp athletes place in three area track meets

Potts Camp Lady Cardinals and Cardinals have enjoyed success in recent track meets.

The top three received medals in the Oxford Invitational March 7.

Girls 400 meter dash – first, Shantae Sharp, 1:04.7.
Girls 3200 meter run – third, Shauna Haney, 15:17.
Girls 4x200 meter relay – third, Shantae Sharp, Kenyotta Jenkins, Lamonica Ingram, Tenesha Woods, 1:56.
The top five received ribbons in the Pontotoc Invitational March 28.
Girls 200 meter dash – fourth, Shantae Sharp, 28.38.
Girls, 400 meter dash – second, Shantae Sharp, 1:05.64; third, Tenesha Woods, 1:10.3.
Girls 100 meter hurdles – third, Shantae Sharp, 54.15.
Girls 3200 meter run – fourth, Shauna Haney, 15:31.
Boys 200 meter dash – fourth, Corey Totten, 24.87.
Boys high jump – fifth, Kyle Swinford, 5-4.

The top three received medals and ribbons in the Daily Journal Relays April 4 at Tupelo.

Boys long jump – first, Larry Miller, 18-05.
Girls long jump – first, Tenesha Woods, 15-01.
Girls 400 meter dash – second, Shantae Sharp, 1:02.9.
Boys 200 meter dash – third, Kyle Swinford, 5-6.5.
Girls, 3200 meter run, third, Shauna Haney, 14:52.
Girls, shotput, third, Jaleeza Reed, 30-00.
Boys, 200 meter dash, third, Corey Totten, 24.84.
Girls, 4x400 relay – third, Robin Bobo, Alexandria King, Jazimin Hankins, Maresha Payne, 5:19.
