| Several charged with crimes By SUE WATSON Staff Writer Two
adults have been charged with grand larceny and five individuals have
been charged with armed robbery in a separate incident, according to
Sheriff Kenny Dickerson. Rodney Craig Jones, 42,
and Patricia Mey Jones, 36, of 395 Ramport Lane, Collierville, Tenn.,
were arrested February 27 and charged with the theft of a flat screen
television and numbers of DVDs from the Holly Springs Funeral Home on
February 25, Dickerson said. The defendants were arrested at their
Collierville apartment where the television was recovered, he said. The
suspects were identified by surveillance camera video taken at the
funeral home, Dickerson said. The suspects are out of jail on bond. Five
suspects, including one juvenile, were arrested following an armed
robbery that took place in the parking lot at Flick’s BP in the early
morning hours of March 9, Dickerson said. “A
couple of the defendants jumped the victim after he was pulled out of
his truck, beaten badly and robbed,” Dickerson said. “Items from the
victim’s billfold were located during the investigation at a location
in Lake Center near Potts Camp.” The suspects
charged with armed robbery include, the juvenile, and Joshua Paul
Keeling, 19, of Boundary Drive, Ashland; Dylan Hendrick, 17, of Lake
Shore Drive Area of Potts Camp; Jeremy Dean Chism, 25, of the New
Albany area; and Byron Miguel Alvarado, 17, of McKay Road in the
Hickory Flat community. All five suspects were released on bond and await future court action, Dickerson said
