City starts absentee voting
Absentee voting is available for the City of Holly Springs primary election, scheduled for Tuesday, May 5.
The city clerk’s office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for absentee voting. It will also be open Saturday, April 25, and Saturday, May 2, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. May 2 is the last day to vote absentee in person in the city clerk’s office.
The deadline for receipt of mailed absentee ballots is Monday, May 4, in order to be counted for the primary election.
All candidates are also reminded that Tuesday, April 28, is the day when campaign finance reports are due in the city clerk’s office.
All voting in the Tuesday, May 5, primary will take place at the Holly Springs Fire Station from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If a primary runoff election is needed, it will be held on Tuesday, May 19.
All Holly Springs candidates are running as Democrats.
