Police investigate shooting
The Holly Springs Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 100 block of Woodward around 10:15 p.m. Friday, March 20, according to chief Robert Pearson.
Officers responding to the call for assistance found Nathaniel Miller, 38, had been shot in the lower abdomen, he said. Miller was airlifted to The MED.
Officers responded to a burglary call in the 300 block of West Street Thursday, March 19. The victim stated that about $700 in cash and a pair of heart-shaped diamond earrings were missing.
Officers were called to a reported vandalism of an unoccupied house in the 400 block of West College Saturday, March 21.
Police reported these additional activities for the week ending March 23 – driving while license suspended (3); no driver’s license (2); no proof of insurance (4); disregard for traffic device (1); driving under the influence (1); petit larceny (2); simple assault (1); trespassing (1); and open container (1).
