• “New Year Celebration” will be held at Friendship Assembly of God beginning at 8 p.m.

• Watch night Clear Creek Baptist Church Watch Night Service will be held at 7 p.m. Featured singers will be The Williams Family from Wren. Everyone is invited. Food, fun and fellowship.

• Watch Night New Hope Baptist Church, Hwy. 72, Slayden, will be having a watch night service Wednesday night, Dec. 31, starting at 8 p.m. No featured singers but if you have a song on your heart, come and share it with us. There will be a fellowship supper midway of service. Bro. Billy Adair and congregation invite everyone to come and join us for singing, fellowship and help us bring in the New Year.

• New year’s eve service Anderson Chapel CME Church will have its New Year’s Eve Service on Wednesday, December 31, at 10 p.m. Join us for a great time of praise and worship through music, dance, drama, testimonies, praying, and teaching!

• New year’s eve celebration -- True Vine MB Church, 10 p.m., pastor Darrell E. Cunningham.

• Watch service Evangel Full Gospel Assembly, 766 Evangel Dr., Wed., Dec. 31, beginning at 8 p.m. Singing, preaching, testimonies and worship. The Bridges, of Munford, Tenn., will be featured. Refreshments and fellowship for everyone. At 12 midnight, prayer for the new year. Everyone is invited.

• Sobriety meeting Cedar Haven Baptist Church, 750 Hwy. 309 S, Byhalia ,will host a Spirit of Sobriety meeting Friday, January 2 at 6 p.m. Twelve Biblical steps to recovery are taught.
