Behind The Scoreboard
Griz tickets likely cheap
The reverberations from Eli Manning and the New York Giants’ spectacular victory in Super Bowl XLII are finally ebbing. And all the NFL players who were lucky enough to make the All-Pro teams which got to bask in the sunny climes of the Islands in the “vacation game,” left the rest of us with time on our hands to ponder “why not us?”
BSA sign-up Saturday
Byhalia Sports Association’s first registration for spring and summer T-ball, baseball, and softball was a great success with many excited boys and girls taking advantage of this opportunity to play ball.
For the first time this year there will be a special age group for 3- and 4-year-old children. We expect this to be a very fun age for both playing and watching.
We also have teams for girls ages 5-16 with new 5-6 girls softball teams if there are enough participants and boys ages 5-15.
BSA plays recreational baseball and softball and is sanctioned through Dizzy Dean and is open to all children of the area. One additional sign-up will held Saturday, Feb. 16, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Byhalia Town Hall. Registration fee is $65, which includes full uniform. We want to see you there!
For questions call Doug or Janice-838-2806, David or Darla-838-5200, Jerry or Kim-838-6849.
