• A Friendship Christmas Friendship Christian Academy presents “A Friendship Christmas” with the dynamic finale presentation of “Jesus Messiah, Lord of All.” Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

• Meeting Cedar Haven Baptist Church, 750 Hwy. 309 S, in Byhalia will host a Recovery meeting Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. A Bible study of 12 steps to recovery is being taught. This will be a process group meeting; which is very important for getting to and staying in sobriety! Anyone seeking recovery or any family member who has been affected is invited. • Community night, Dr. Ishmell Edwards, vice president and athletic director, and the Rust College Bearcats basketball team invite everyone out to “community night,” Fri., Dec. 19, 5 p.m. The Bearcats will play the Panthers of Birmingham Southern University. • Christmas luncheon First Baptist Church of Holly Springs will have a churchwide Christmas luncheon on Sun., Dec. 21. The church will provide meats, bread and drinks. You are invited to bring vegetables or desserts.

• Musician’s appreciation St. Mark MB Church, Dec. 21, 4 p.m. Musicians are Bro. Rudy Whitelow, Bro. Mercedes and our newest musician, Bro. Ben Matthews. Everyone is invited.

• “Old Fashion Christmas” will be held at Friendship Assembly of God with caroling in the streets. Holiday trailer of carolers will be leaving the church at 6 p.m. Hot cocoa, sounds of Christmas cheer as we serenade the community.

• Annual Christmas visit by the Holly Springs Federated Improvement Club. Gifts and short program at Trinity Mission, Holly Springs. Dec. 22, 2 p.m. You are welcome to join us.
