Buck-Campbell vows said in October 18 ceremony Kimberly Lisette Campbell of Jackson and Kelvin O’Neal Buck of Holly Springs were married at 4 p.m. on October 18, 2008 at Pearl Street African Methodist Episcopal Church in Jackson. Kimberly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Campbell of Jackson. Kelvin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Buck of Tupelo. Ardath Sage was the maid of honor. Tomika Irving was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kerrigan Buck, Erin Coleman, Erica Hackett, Tekita Williams, Camille Young and Mary Young. Robert Young was the best man. The groomsmen were: Channing Buck, Forrest Buck, L. Cord Campbell, Dock Cooper, Antoine Dennard, Boris Irving and James Phillips. The entire wedding party consisted of 20 people and over 600 guests attended. Kimberly is an attorney and a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, District 72. Kelvin is a media consultant and a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, District 5. The dinner reception was for over 300 guests. It was held at the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson immediately following the ceremony. After the reception, the couple boarded a plane for a seven-day honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Miss Stacy McGregor and Andrew Dillard to wed Dec. 20 at Cornerstone Baptist Church Wayne and Wilma McGregor of Potts Camp announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy McGregor, to Andrew Dillard, son of Steve and Mary Jane Dillard of Saltillo. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marjorie Clifton of Potts Camp and the late Henry C. Clifton and the late Lamar and Dorothy McGregor of Potts Camp. She graduated salutatorian of her 2001 class at Hickory Flat High School. She is a 2005 graduate of The Mississippi University for Women with a bachelor’s of science in communicative disorders. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. As she continues her education, she is presently employed at Tyson Pharmacy. The prospective groom is the grandson of Evelyn Young and the late Billy Young of Saltillo and Charles and Juanita Dillard of Saltillo. He graduated from Saltillo High School in 1999. He is a 2005 graduate of Delta State University with a Master of Business Administration degree. He was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Division II baseball All-American at Delta State. He is employed at Central Service Association in Tupelo, where he works as an information service representative. The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m., Dec. 20 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hickory Flat, with Bro. Jimmy Wilbanks officiating the ceremony. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Family and friends are invited. Couple to wed Dec. 20 in Byhalia ![]() Cathy Cowan and Rickey Matthews Addie Roberts is proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Cathy Cowan, to Rickey Matthews. Cathy is the granddaughter of the late Julian and Maebell Luellen and the late Timothy and Lurline Dortch. Rickey is the son of Robert and Betty Matthews. He is the grandson of Susie Matthews and the late Johnson Matthews and Ethel Mitchell of Byhalia. The ceremony will be held on Dec. 20 at 3 p.m. at Miracle Temple COGIC in Byhalia. Elder Sylvester Hamilton will officiate. A Reception will be held at Promise Land Country Club. All family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
