Christina
Teel, a senior English major at Blue Mountain College, has been chosen
Who’s Who Among American College and University Students. Teel, who is
also senior class president at BMC, is the daughter of Paulette and the
late Maynard Teel and a graduate of Marshall Academy. | HOBY Macy Watkins, a sophomore at Potts Camp School, has been
selected to represent Potts Camp at the Mississippi Hugh O'Brian Youth
Leadership Seminar (HOBY) May 29-31, 2009, at Millsaps College in
Jackson. The Mississippi HOBY is one of the largest seminars in the
country with over 255 students. Over the weekend the students interact
with leaders in business, education, government, and the media. Macy
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Watkins of Potts Camp. |

The Patriot Performers from Marshall Academy
performed Sunday afternoon at First Baptist Church as part of the
annual Christmas in Holly Springs home tour, sponsored by the Marshall
County Historical Museum. Members of the group, under the direction of
Catherine Swan, include (top photo, from left) Emma Burleson, Erin
Viger, Claire Liddy, Ciara Boyle, Carlie Brandom, Hannah Hamblin and

Chrissy Farris. The Patriot Performers sang a variety of holiday
