• Founder’s Day banquet Attorney Sarah Summerville, a native of Holly Springs, will be the guest speaker at the ninth annual MICAAI Founder’s Day banquet (the 103rd Founder’s Day historically). The banquet will be held Sat., Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Oak Palace, 580 Stewart Street in Holly Springs. The scholarship banquet is held in the name of Bishop Elias Cottrell, founder of M.I. College.

• The Young At Heart Christmas gathering for First Baptist Church will be held Sat., Dec. 13, 4 p.m. You are invited to bring finger foods (sandwiches, chips and dip, desserts: and a canned good or staple for the food pantry). The special guests will be clown mimes “Casey & Pipsi,” presenting a new and unique presentation of the gospel.

• Go Tell Christmas Tour and Live Nativity. Dec. 14, 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Cost $7 adults; $3 children 3-12 years; under 3 free. The tour will include BridgeWay Baptist Church, two homes, and Slayden Antiques. The Live Nativity showings will be 2:30 p.m.; 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the barn located at 3140 Highway 72. • Bringing in the Christmas Season – The Rust College A’Cappella Choir will present their annual “An Evening with Zebedee Jones and the Rust College A’Cappella Choir” at 6 p.m. Sunday, December 14 in the Morehouse Auditorium, Doxey Center. The annual concert will feature a variety of Christmas musical compositions. The Christmas concert is a Rust College Lyceum event and is free to the public.

• The joyous sounds of Christmas Byhalia High School band and chorus present “The Joyous Sounds of Christmas,” Sun., Dec. 14, 6 p.m. in the gym. Admission, $3.
