Hannah,
Shockers to play on ESPN2 Thanksgiving

Holly
Springs’ Clevin Hannah and the Wichita State Shockers will
play in the
2008 Old Spice Classic in Orlando, Fla., Thanksgiving weekend.
Hannah,
a junior, scored a team-high 13 points Sunday when the Shockers opened
their season with a 77-53 win over Florida A&M. He also dished
out
five assists.
The
Old Spice Classic will be played November 27-30 at the Milk House at
Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.
In
the first round of action, beginning Thursday, Nov. 27, Tennessee will
take on Siena; Wichita State will face Georgetown; Maryland will meet
Michigan State; and Oklahoma State and Gonzaga will square
off. All
games on the first day of action will be televised on ESPN2.
It
will be the first meeting ever between the Shockers and Hoyas.
Hannah,
a former Holly Springs High School Hawk, is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Kervin Daugherty and Robert McCullough. He is the grandson of Mr. and
Mrs. Larry Turner and Cheryl B. Brannon. His brothers and sisters are
Kierra, Kervin, Kyle and Klemia.
