• ATTENTION DEER HUNTERS Opening morning of deer season we will serve breakfast beginning at 1 a.m. until 9 a.m., at the VFW, Hwy. 7 South in Holly Springs. All proceeds will benefit The Veteran’s Traveling Tribute that will be here November 26-30.

• Meeting The Marshall County Genealogical Society will meet Sat., Nov. 22, 10 a.m. in the meeting room of the Marshall County Library in Holly Springs.

• Deer Hunter’s breakfast Sponsored by the Potts Camp Volunteer Fire Dept.. Nov. 22, 4-6 a.m. at the fire dept.

• Free thanksgiving dinner Byhalia United Methodist Church hopes to alleviate the stress of life on the streets or in low income housing by providing a free Thanksgiving meal on November 22, from 3-5 p.m. According to Dr. Jim Biedenharn, the church pastor, “Anyone who comes to our doors is welcome- without question or qualification. What everyone forgets is that we are all alike. You never know what may happen to you. We just want to bring people a little food and dignity. • Singing Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church, 1/2 mile south of Goodman Rd. on Cayce Rd. Featured singers will be the Turner Family. Sat., Nov. 22, 7 p.m. Everyone is welcomed.

• Winter Sale Saturday morning, Nov. 22, from 8 a.m. until 12 noon in the building behind St. Joseph Church (former Child Care Center). This gigantic sale will include winter coats and jackets, books for all ages, furniture, dishes, tools, toys, children’s items, bedding and many other items. Sale will benefit Holy Family School. • ORDINATION SERVICE Mighty God Ministries located at Victoria is hosting special ordination services for Pastor Marvin Brooks, 7 p.m. On November 23, Sunday school is at 10 a.m. and worship service is at 11 a.m. Everyone is invited.
