| Marshall hosting shootout next week The Marshall Academy Pre-Season Girls Shootout is scheduled for next week, October 27-November 1. It will include junior high and varsity girls basketball games. There will also be regular season openers for the junior high and varsity boys mixed in on Saturday, Nov. 1. The schedule includes: Monday 4 p.m. - Marvell vs. Byhalia (JH); 5:15 p.m. - Marvell vs. Byhalia; 6:30 p.m. - Memphis-Area Home Education Association (MHEA) vs. Marshall (JH); 7:45 p.m. - MHEA vs. Marshall. Tuesday 4 p.m. - Byhalia vs. West Memphis Christian (JH); 5:15 p.m. - Byhalia vs. WMC; 6:30 p.m. - Marshall vs. Magnolia Heights (JH); 7:45 p.m. - Marshall vs. Magnolia Heights. Thursday 3 p.m. - West Memphis Christian vs. MHEA (JH); 4:15 p.m. - West Memphis Christian vs. MHEA; 5:30 p.m. - Magnolia Heights vs. Marvell (JH); 6:45 p.m. - Magnolia Heights vs. Marvell; 8 p.m. - Byhalia vs. Marshall. Saturday 11 a.m. - Marvell vs. MHEA (JH); 12:15 p.m. - Marvell vs. MHEA; 1:30 p.m. - Magnolia Heights vs. West Memphis Christian (JH); 2:45 p.m. - Magnolia Heights vs. West Memphis Christian; 4 p.m. - Marshall vs. MHEA (junior high boys regular season game); 5:15 p.m. - Marshall vs. MHEA (high school boys regular season game); 6:30 p.m. - Marshall vs. H.W.
