• ASSOCIATE MINISTERS will

• Third Annual Deer Creek
Haunted Trail, 463 Deer Creek Rd., one mile off of Cayce Rd., will be
open October 23, 24, 25, 30, 31 and November 1. All night trails are
nightfall until midnight except for October 23 and 30 which are
nightfall until 10 p.m. Admission: $5 per person. Group rate special:
$18 for 4 people. All proceeds benefit Boy Scouts and the Byhalia Pom
Pom Squad. Concessions will be sold at the trail. Donations of
materials and supplies are greatly appreciated.

• Career Day for Friendship
Christian Academy with Trey Manning, commander of aviation with DeSoto
County Sheriff’s Department, bringing the helicopter out to
expound on the topic of aviation at 9 a.m. Home school students are

Volunteer Fire Department’s 19th annual Haunted Firehouse.

person. Just minutes from Byhalia down Hwy. 309 S. At the

• Master magician First
Baptist Church of Holly Springs will present master magician Scott
Humston Oct. 24-26. Friday and Saturday’s programs
will begin at 7 p.m. and there will be Sunday programs at the 10:15
a.m. and 6:30 p.m. services. The community is invited to come
experience one of the world’s great Christian entertainers.
• The Dungeon Haunted House at
Wall Doxey State Park is being brought to you by Boy Scout Troop 43
again this year, Fri., Oct. 24 and Sat., Oct. 25, 7-10 p.m. $3
admission. Concessions, cake walk, games for young kids, hayrides and
costume contest on Sat. night. Wall Doxey State Park is just five miles
south of Holly Springs on Highway 7 South.

• Program The Ministerial
Alliance of the HSMC Baptist Association, with president Rev. Leroy
James, would like to announce a Young Ministers Gospel
Explosion Program on Sat., October 25 starting at 7 p.m. at Mt. Moriah
MB Church located at 3193 Marianna Road in Holly Springs. Rev. Dr. R.J.
Wilson is the pastor. Featuring Minister Nathaniel Johnson Jr.,
lecturer for the night and Minister Ben Norman, speaker. Come out and
