Main Street needs volunteers
By SUE WATSON
The Holly Springs Main Street program needs 60 volunteers to serve on standing committees, according to organizer Clencie Cotton.
Four standing committees need 15 volunteers each, he said. The committees include organization, promotion, design and economic development.
Standing committee members will meet November 17, 18 and 19 in Holly Springs to work with the Main Street resource team.
The Holly Springs Main Street program is sponsored by the city and Rust College.
To register as a volunteer for one of these standing committees, contact Cotton at 662-252-4590 or visit the Beckley Conference Center at Rust College. Your name, phone number and e-mail address is needed and your participation in one of the four committees for Main Street.
All businesses in the Holly Springs area are invited to be represented and to participate in planning sessions in November.
