• PRAYER BREAKFAST Golden Stars will have a prayer
breakfast at Strawberry MB Church, 9 a.m. The public is invited.
• HEALTH FAIR Isaac Chapel Church of Byhalia will
have a health fair, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Come and get your health checked out.
• HARVEST FESTIVAL First Southern Baptist Church at
Victoria invites everyone to their annual Harvest Festival for games,

• Auction Emory Independent Methodist Church will
hold an auction on Oct. 18 with a spaghetti dinner and silent auction
from 5-7 p.m. The live auction will begin at 7:30. Dinner
will be $10 for adults and $5 for children. The proceeds will go
to the 2009 Mission Trip. Emory Independent Methodist Church
is located seven miles south of Byhalia at 872 Watson Road.
• Gospel fall festival, Kimbrough Chapel Church,

• Singing Clear Creek Baptist Church will have a
gospel singing featuring The Barnetts from Stanton, Tenn. Fellowship at
6 p.m. and singing at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited.
• SINGING Gospel singing will be held at Fellowship
Baptist Church, Hwy. 309 North, Byhalia, at 6:30 p.m. The One Way
Quartet from Ethel will be special guests. Wade Crum, pastor, invites

• SPAGHETTI SUPPER The Slayden-Mt. Pleasant-Early
Grove Fire Department will be having a spaghetti supper, from 5 p.m.-8
p.m. at the fire station. The supper consists of spaghetti, cole slaw,
garlic bread, tea, and a dessert. The fire station is located at 194

Chapter # 290 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy will hold

• Third Annual Deer Creek Haunted Trail, 463 Deer
Creek Rd, one mile off of Cayce Rd., will be open October 23, 24, 25,
30, 31 and November 1. All night trails are nightfall until midnight
except for October 23 and 30 which are nightfall until 10 p.m.
Admission: $5 per person. Group rate special: $18 for four people. All
proceeds benefit Boy Scouts and the Byhalia Pom Pom Squad. Concessions

• Program The Ministerial Alliance of the HSMC
