Police investigate burglaries
The Holly Springs Police Department investigated two burglaries and one malicious mischief incident last week.
A Sony CD player was taken during a burglary of a blue Honda Accord in the 200 Block of Clara Avenue, on October 6, according to Chief Robert Pearson.
A Jenson television/radio player and two kickers 15 L7 speakers were stolen from a 2004 Jeep in the 100 block of Rust Avenue, October 7, he said.
Officers responded to a malicious mischief call in the 100 block of Rust Avenue last week and found damage to the passenger door of a 2001 green Volkswagen.
Officers responded to the following activities for the week ending October 14, including: driving while license suspended (5); no driver’s license/expired license (2); no proof of insurance (1); expired tag/no tag (2); improper passing (1); disorderly conduct (1); domestic violence/simple assault (2); disturbing the family peace (1); stalking (1); driving under the influence (2); violation of loud music ordinance (1); and violation of dog ordinance (1).
