Snow Lake News Barbara Salling Plans underway for Valentine’s Day dinner February 14 The
Big Monthly Breakfast was well attended this past Saturday. It was
difficult to find a parking space; it was so crowded! I love to see our
community responding to a function like this. We all chat and enjoy
being with one another and have a great time. Of course, the food
prepared by our volunteers was overflowing our plates and was sooooo

Holly Springs News Henderson Milan Honor Day for MC Retired Education Personnel set for February 15 Marshall
County Retired Education Personnel will meet Feb. 15, 1 p.m. at the
library. This will be our Honor Day. Three people will be honored this
day. Hopewell No. 1 Church’s Growth Conference
was held at 12 noon Saturday. Holly Springs Baptist Association
executive board met Saturday at the Baptist Association Building. Hopewell
No. 1 members having a birthday in January: Marcus Crittle, 1; Cora
Walton, 6; Annie B. Grief, Willie B. Cornelius, 9; Ivion M. Crittle,
13; Lemedrea Payne, 13; Truly Payne, 16; Jaquavian Boga, 21; Ben Cole
II, 25; Thomas Shel, 25; Estella Faulkner, 10; Dr. John W. Crittle, 31.
We sang happy birthday to all of them. The time for Church Growth Conference has been changed from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Jan. 26. Holly Springs executive board will meet Saturday, Jan 26, 10 a.m. Rev. Archie Bowen, moderator.
