The Marshall County Planning Commission will meet for their regularly
scheduled meeting on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the
Marshall County Zoning Office at 590 Old Highway 78-East, Holly
Springs, Mississippi. The public is invited to attend.
The following requests will be on the agenda:
Item 1: Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Blake at 317 Sandidge Drive are
requesting to be allowed to place a second dwelling of 644 square feet
on their property. If allowed, the structure will be occupied by Ms.
Lori Harris, Mrs. Blake’s disabled sister. However, it will
be built in such a way so it can be moved from their property when it
is no longer needed. The property in question is Lot 55 of Warsaw East
Farms, Phase II Subdivision, contains 2.79 acres and zoned R-2.
Item 2: Mr. and Mrs. Jamie L.Rodgers are requesting to be allowed to
subdivide their property of 3.2 acres into two (2) lots. If allowed,
the lots will be for their two (2) children to build homes on. The
property in question is Lot #42 of Warsaw East Farms Subdivision,
located at the corner of St. Paul Road and Sandidge Road and is zoned
R-2. TABLED FROM SEPT. 11, 2008 MEETING.
Item 3. Mrs. Connie M. Young at 67 Humphrey Road requests to be allowed
to place a second dwelling (double wide mobile home) on her property
for her granddaughter, Lacrusha Young and her two (2) children. The
property in question is Lot H of Dovefield Farms Subdivision, contains
3.2 acres and zoned R-2.

BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION
Prices bid shall be F O.B. Holly Springs, Mississippi, and must include
any pre-delivery and/or set-up charges, title and inspection where
applicable.
No responsibility will attach to any person or persons employed by the
Board for premature opening of any bid not properly addressed and the
identified as stipulated above.
Bids must be withdrawn upon written notice or upon telegraphic request
received from bidder prior to the time and date so designated for the
opening by may not be thereafter withdrawn for thirty (30) days.
The Marshall County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to
determine which is the lowest and best bid and to accept or reject any
or all bids on any part of any or all bids based on that determination.
No Bid shall be accepted which does not comply with Section 19-31-71,
Mississippi Code of 1972, annotated pertaining to the requirement for a
registration license and a bond.
Prices bid shall be firm without reservation as to change subsequent to
date of bid opening and shall remain so for the duration of the
Contract as set forth in the specifications. In the event
that no Item Contract is involved, orders shall be placed with
successful bidder within thirty (30) days of the bid opening or this
clause shall be considered void.
It shall be incumbent upon each bidder to understand the specifications
as listed herein and to obtain clarification when necessary. It is not
the intent of the specifications to limit the bidding to any make or
manufacture of equipment or items of commodity, but rather to select
such equipment and/or commodities to fill a specific need and perform a
specific task. Any reference to name brand equipment or commodities is
intended to establish standards only and bids submitted on equipment
and commodities equal thereto shall be received and considered.
The bidder agrees to all provisions set forth above and agrees to
deliver those items, on which he is the awarded bidder, in accordance
with these instructions.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Please be advised that sealed bids will be received by the Marshall
County Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi in the
Office of the County Administrator, Courthouse, Post Office Box 219,
Holly Springs, MS 38635, until 10:00 A.M., October 13, 2008 pursuant to
Mississippi Code Section 19-5-105, for the clean up of property located
at 2595 Highway 178 East (AKA Spring Creek Bottom), owned by Edna
Bernice Jones, parcel #95-21-12. Clean up will include the
demolishing and removal of old buildings, picking up trash some weed
