This event will consist of limited edition event knives, door prizes, an antique car show, horse drawn buggy rides, arts and crafts, musical entertainment and great food venders. • Workshop Holly Springs Intermediate School Junior Citizenship Corps Club and ARM Tutors will sponsor a “Citizenship Workshop” on Saturday, September 20, in the gym from 9-11 a.m. On this day, the ARM Tutors and local officials will teach the students how important it is to vote. They will be able to go through all the processes: getting a driver’s license, registering to vote, and participating in a mock election.

• FALL FESTIVAL Mary Reid School and Potts Camp School are hosting a Fall Festival at the Potts Camp City Park, 10 a.m. There will be games for all ages, giant slides, food and entertainment. The Athletic Booster Club is selling chances on a four-wheeler which will be given away at noon.

• FALL FESTIVAL Victory Baptist Church, 2550 Wall Hill Road, Independence, will have their fall festival, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Fun, free games, prizes and food.

• KIMBROUGH CHAPEL’s annual church outing will be held with all-day activities beginning at 10 a.m. until.

• Family Day Friendship Assembly of God will have “Friendship Family Day” at Wall Doxey State Park. There will be a picnic dinner, games, worship and praise with Pastor Virgil Scherff delivering the message. Service time is 9 a.m.
