I am the attorney for the Marshall
County Board of Supervisors. During the September 2008
session, the Board of Supervisors was informed that your real property
located at 3835 Highway 309 North (Parcel# 244-23-6) is in such a state
of uncleanliness as to be a menace to the public health and safety of
the community as well as being an eyesore to residents and passersby.
Therefore, the Marshall County Board of
Supervisors hereby notifies you as owner of the property that due to

referenced real property is such that it is a menace to the public
health and/or safety of the community, then county employees or

clearing of the property consistent with the provisions of the
statute.
The actual costs of cleaning the
property will be adjudicated by Resolution of the Board and shall
become an assessment against your property. The assessment
for cleaning the property shall not exceed $10,000.00. This
assessment shall become a lien against the property and may be enrolled
in the Office of the Circuit Clerk of Marshall County just as other
judgments are enrolled.
Further, the Tax Collector can be
ordered to sell said property in order to satisfy the lien with you, as
