| Holly Springs police nab kidnapping suspect The Holly Springs
Police Department made arrests last week for kidnapping, felony
shoplifting and simple assault on a police officer. Billy Turner,
25, of Marion, Ark., was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 26, on charges of
kidnapping, according to police chief Robert Pearson. Darrell Hammond Rodger, 42, of Holly Springs, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 27, on charges of felony shoplifting, he said. Hershel
Eugene McClusky, 49, of Holly Springs, was arrested on Saturday, Aug.
30, on charges of simple assault on a police officer, according to
Pearson. Officers responded to the following activities last week
– driving while license suspended, 7; no driver’s license/expired
driver’s license, 1; no tag/expired tag, 2; seatbelt violation, 3; no
proof of insurance, 6; reckless driving, 2; improper passing, 1;
disregard for traffic devices, 1; driving under the influence, 1;
possession of paraphernalia, 1; simple assault – domestic violence, 5;
disorderly conduct, 1; disturbance of peace, 1; resisting arrest, 1;
malicious mischief, 1; stalking, 1. Anyone having information
