WHEREAS, the United States of America, acting by and through the United
States Department of Agriculture, is the owner and holder of the
following real estate deed(s) of trust, securing an indebtedness
therein mentioned and covering certain real estate hereinafter
described located in Marshall County, Mississippi, said deed(s) of
trust being duly recorded in the Office of the Chancery Clerk in and

The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified
bidder on the basis ofpublished quantities.
The attention of the BIDDER is directed to the State and Federal laws
governing selection of and employment of labor.
MINIMUM WAGE RATES for this project have been predetermined by the
Secretary governing the expenditure of FEDERAL AID HIGHWAY FUNDS and
are set out in the labor regulations contained in the proposal.
The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it
will affirmatively insure that in any contract
entered into pursuant to this advertisement,

submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be

PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS are on file in the Office of the Chancery
Clerk of Marshall County, the County Engineer's office and the Office
of the State Aid Engineer, 412 Woodrow
Wilson Avenue, Jackson, Mississippi. This project
shall be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the
Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge
Construction.
PLANS AND PROPOSALS may be secured from Larry L. Britt, County Engineer
for Marshall County, Mississippi, P. O. Box 308, Oxford, MS 38655,
662-234-1763. The Cost is seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for plans and
thirty dollars ($30.00) for the proposal, non-refundable.
Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid,
made payable to Marshall County and the State of Mississippi must
accompany each proposal.
Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters
qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is
tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such

scheduled meeting on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the
Marshall County Zoning Office at 590 Old Highway 78-East, Holly
Springs, Mississippi. The public is invited to attend.
The following requests will be on the agenda:
ITEM 1: Mrs. Sonya T. Lopez at 360 Holiday Drive is requesting to be
allowed to place a second dwelling (double wide mobile home) on her
property for her mother to live in. The property in question is Lot #8
at Quinn Road Estates Subdivision, contains approximately 3.3 acres and
is zoned R-E.
ITEM 2: Mr. and Mrs. Jamie L. Rodgers are requesting to be allowed to

ITEM 4: Mrs. Juanita Street at 45 Banks Road requests to be allowed to

her daughter, Dianne Tyson and her family. If allowed, the mobile home
will be placed at the same spot where another mobile home had once been
placed before. This request is being made because of Mrs. Street
daughter’s medical problems. The property in question is

ITEM 5: Mr. Adrian Trevino is in the process of purchasing 61.73 acres
located at the end of Petty Farms Road (off of St. Paul Road). He is
requesting to be allowed to establish a horse training facility. If
allowed, it will be where people can bring their horses to train and
exercise in a family establishment with a playground for children.
There will be no loud music and no alcohol will be allowed or sold at
the facility. The property in question is zoned

ITEM 6: The home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nichols burned in May and they
are requesting to be allowed to place a 16x80, singlewide mobile home
on Lot #54 of Circle B Farms Subdivision (Bennett Circle). This
placement is for a two (2) year period only (as agreed upon with the
developer of the subdivision, Mrs. Mary Ann Hurdle). If allowed for a
period of two (2) years by the Planning Commission the mobile home will
be placed on the back of the property as not to be readily seen from
the road. The property in question contains 2.1 acres and zoned R-1.
ITEM 7: Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Davis (owners of Holly Springs Raceway Park
located on Old Highway 7 South) are requesting to be allowed to
