• The Ida B. Wells-Barnett Festival and birthday celebration will be held July 11, 12, 13 at the Ida B. Wells Museum and Spring Hollow Park. For more information or the schedule of events call 662-252-3232. The festival will feature arts and crafts, tours, banquet, special speakers and singers.

• Watson VFD Rummage Sale date has changed. The sale will be Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12. New times will be from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. We hope to see you there. • SUMMER SALE Holy Family will have annual Summer Sale, 8 a.m.-12 p.m., behind St. Joseph’s Church on Van Dorn in Holly Springs. There will be clothes, dishes, household items, furniture and books of all kinds.

• Pastor and wife honored Pleasant Hill CME Church will honor their pastor and wife with a love banquet at 6 p.m. on Sat., July 12 at New Stinson Community Church. The love day will climax Sunday, July 20, 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill CME Church. Everyone is invited to come help the church honor Rev. and Mrs. Hoey.
