HOUSING, MONUMENT BUSINESS SIGNS,
UPDATED DEFINITIONS, PUD
REQUIREMENTS,
ARCHITECTURAL AND HISTORIC GUIDELINES AND UPDATING ZONING MAP TO PARCEL
BASED MAP AND ACCOUNT FOR ZONING CHANGES, AND
PROVIDING NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING TO
CONSIDER REZONING
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of
Aldermen of the City of Holly Springs, Mississippi, do desire to amend
the Comprehensive Zoning Plan for the City of Holly Springs by updating
and revising its zoning ordinances with regard to the location of
churches, downtown upper floor housing, monument business signs,
updated definitions, PUD requirements, architectural and historic
guidelines and updating zoning map to parcel based map and account for
zoning changes;
WHEREAS, by previous ordinance,
certain
amendments and changes were contemplated and allowed by giving at least
fifteen (15) days’ notice of a public hearing to consider any
proposed change or amendment;
WHEREAS, the City Board of
Aldermen do
hereby give notice that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, 5th
day of February, 2008, at 5:30 P.M., at the Board Room at City Hall,
located at 160 South Memphis Street, Holly Springs, Mississippi;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,
that,
this Resolution is hereby adopted and shall be published once in The
South Reporter, a legal publication, the first publication being at
least fifteen (15) days prior to the public hearing noticed herein.

Resolution, seconded by Alderman Johnson.
The Resolution was put to a

vote by the Mayor, and the result was as follows:

SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE'S NOTICE OF SALE
STATE OF MISSISSIPPI
COUNTY OF MARSHALL
WHEREAS, on June 19, 2006,
Suzanne
Hockman executed and delivered a certain Deed of Trust unto Arnold M.
Weiss, Trustee for the benefit of Mortgage Electronic Registration
Systems, Inc., acting solely as nominee for GMAC Mortgage Corporation
dba Ditech.com, to secure an indebtedness therein described, which Deed
of Trust is recorded in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Marshall
County, Mississippi in Book 414, Page 242; and
WHEREAS, the holder of said Deed
of
Trust substituted and appointed Nationwide Trustee Services, Inc., as
Trustee in said Deed of Trust by instrument recorded in the Office of
the aforesaid Chancery Clerk Book 452, Page 794; and
WHEREAS, default having been made
in
the payments of indebtedness secured by said Deed of Trust, and the
holder of said Deed of Trust, having requested the undersigned so to
do, on January 31, 2008, I will, during legal hours (between the hours
of 11 o' clock a.m. and 4 o' clock p.m.), at public outcry, offer for
sale and will sell, at the South Door of the Marshall County Courthouse
in Holly Springs, Mississippi, for cash to the highest bidder, the
following described land and property situated in Marshall County,
Mississippi, to-wit:
A lot in the Southeast part of Lot Number 305, in Section 6, Township 4
South, Range 2 West, in the City of Holly Springs, Mississippi, and
more fully described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast
corner of
Lot Number 305 at a point where the West boundary of Walthall
intersects with the North boundary of Park Avenue; run thence West with
the North boundary of Park Avenue 122.0 feet; thence North 79.0 feet;
thence East 1220.0 feet to a point on the West boundary of Walthall
Street; thence South with the West boundary of Walthall Street 79.0
feet to the point of beginning.
Title to the above described property is believed to be good, but I
will convey only such title as is vested in me as Substituted Trustee.
