Academy began its track season at home March 29 with the varsity girls
and junior high boys placing first and the varsity boys and junior high
girls finished second. Point totals for the
varsity girls in the Marshall Invitational were – Marshall, 75;
Magnolia Heights, 43; and Tupelo Christian, 30. Point
totals for the varsity boys were – Magnolia Heights, 54; Marshall, 49;
Tupelo Christian, 32; West Memphis, 27; and North Delta, 22. In
junior high boys competition, team totals were – Marshall, 96; North
Delta, 75; Magnolia Heights, 44.5; West Memphis Christian, 16; and
Tupelo Christian, 5. In the junior high girls
competition, team totals were Magnolia Heights, 85; Marshall, 67; West
Memphis, 17; and Tupelo Christian, 17. Varsity girls - 100m dash - second, Molly West, 14.35.

Schedule MA was scheduled to host the Patriot Relays on Tuesday of this week. Saturday,
the boys and girls junior high squads will compete in the district meet
at Lee (Clarksdale). The varsity district is Wednesday, April 16, and
Saturday, April 19, at Lee (Clarksdale).
