Andrew Lee Hearn
Andrew Lee
Hearn, 61, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 25, 2007 at his home. He was a
member of Wilkins Chapel CME Church in Waterford.
Services
were held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 28 at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home
Chapel in Holly Springs, with burial in the Wilkins Chapel Cemetery.
Rev. A.V. Warren Jr. officiated.
He leaves four
sisters, Louise Riddle, Olivia Bynote, Frances Lester, all of Holly
Springs, Annie Marion of Potts Camp; and a brother, Mansfield Hearn of
Waterford.
He was preceded in death by a
brother, Clim Hearn.
Robert Harold Hurdle
Robert
Harold Hurdle, 67, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 24, 2007 at his home. He
was a member of First Baptist Church in Holly Springs, a cattleman and
a farmer.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on
Dec. 27
at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Hill Crest
Cemetery. Bro. Curtis Ferrell officiated.
He
leaves his wife, Scarlett Ellington Hurdle; his mother, Viola Hurdle of
Holly Springs; two sons, Robb Hurdle of Holly Springs, Landy Hurdle of
Clarksdale; his brother, James Hurdle of Holly Springs; two sisters,
Bonnie Bynum of Searcy, Ark., Helen Mason of Holly Springs; two
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers
were Robb Hurdle, Landy Hurdle, Ronnie Jones, John B. Curl, Frank
Swords, Bobby McAlexander, Troy Loupe, Kenny Dickerson and Jonathan
Burch. Honorary pallbearers were Roy Carpenter, Wayne Cook, Bobby Fant,
Neil Bain, Wayburn Callicutt, Gary Barnett, Conley Wilson, Greg Taylor,
Dick Douglas, Jakey K. Hurdle, Tom Hurdle Jr. and Tubby Gresham.

Michael Roland Randolph
Michael
Roland Randolph, 65, of Byhalia died Dec. 21, 2007. He was a
parishioner of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Olive Branch, a third
degree Knight of Columbus and retired from 4-Way Transportation.
Brantley Funeral Home in Olive
Branch was in charge of arrangements.
He
leaves his two children, Melissa A. Bewley and Michael R. Randolph II,
both of Franklin, Ind.; brothers, Carl, Jim and David Randolph;
sisters, Sharon McDougal, Denise Freeman, Ruth Harshaw and Anna Crow;
his stepmother, Patricia Randolph of Kingsport, Tenn.; and six
grandchildren.
Claire Kelly Schoggen
Claire
Kelly (Sue) Schoggen, 78, of Mt. Pleasant, died Dec. 25, 2007 at her
home. She was the widow of William Thomas Schoggen. She was a member of
Carey Chapel Baptist Church and was employed at Carrier Corp.
Services
were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 28 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel.
Tom Summerall and Charles Boyd officiated. Burial was in Carey Chapel
Cemetery.
She leaves her son, William T.
Schoggen Jr. of Mt. Pleasant; her daughter, Shirley S. Darby of
Germantown, Tenn.; two brothers, Lloyd Kelly of Potts Camp, Tony Kelly
of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers
were Clint Darby, Tyler Darby, Jeff Bolton, Patrick McMullen, Benny
Kelly and Grover Sims. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Teel, John
Wilson, Rodney Cothern, Wayne Teel, Nathan Wilson and Ryan Wilson.
Charlie Young Sr.
Charlie
Young Sr., 86, of Grand Junction, Tenn.,formerly of Michigan City, died
Dec. 16, 2007 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a
farmer.
Services were held at 12 noon on
Dec.
22 at Pleasant Grove MB Church in Grand Junction, Tenn. Burial was in
the church cemetery. Rev. Manuel Donis officiated. Serenity Funeral
Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his
children, Myrtle Young, Ricky Young, both of Grand Junction, William
Danny Young of Middleton, Tenn., Ruby Buggs and Rena Shaw, both of
Memphis, Tenn.; and two sisters, Allie Young of Grand Junction, Osnell
Meadows of Memphis.
He was preceded in death by
his wife; children Charlie Young Jr., Annie Woodley, O.C. Young, Jimmy
Parker; three brothers and seven sisters.
