Holly Springs News Holly Springs Baptist Association executive board will meet January 26 A Christmas play was presented at Hopewell No. 1 Sunday at 10:45 a.m. Pastor James led the choir to dedicate a song entitled “Jesus” to Henderson Milan. Attorney Ben Cole reviewed Sunday school lesson. Gifts were exchanged. Remarks by Mayor DeBerry. Closing song “Silent Night.” We were happy to have our college students home for Christmas from Alcorn State University, Jackson State, Mississippi Valley State, Mississippi State, University of Mississippi, Tugaloo College, Lane College, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Northeast Community College, Northwest Community College; soldiers from military bases from across the country. Getha Smith and daughter Theresa Bostick visited during the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Henderson Milan visited his relatives in west Marshall County over the holidays. Watch meeting was held at Hopewell No. 1 Dec. 21. Holly Springs Baptist Association executive board will meet Saturday, Jan. 26, 10 a.m. at the Baptist Association Building. |
