Holly Springs police seek robbery suspect

Holly Springs police are looking for a male suspect who held up a clerk at a liquor store Saturday morning, according to chief Robert Pearson.

Potts Camp alderman dies at 53

Potts Camp alderman Al Beard will be laid to rest Saturday, following memorial services at Potts Camp gymnasium at noon, according to his brother James Beard.

In observance of Black History Month, Friends of Ida B. Wells Barnett Museum and Cultural Center for African American History presented an African American Fest Friday and Saturday at the Eddie L. Smith Multi-Purpose Building. It included a series of programs about African American history celebrated in dance, music, poetry, art, language, drama, folklore, film and community gathering.
