Grant checks in on her early every morning, but when he arrived last Tuesday, an ambulance was called and she was taken to the hospital in Ripley. News The James celebrate 41st anniversary A Black History program was presented at Hopewell No. 1 Sunday, Feb. 18. Theme, “Passing the Legacy from Generation to Generation.” Program Devotion Youth. Congregation songs, “This Little Light of Mine” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and “We Shall Overcome.” Kewan Houston introduced the master of ceremony. Bobby Govan gave the welcome.
