ObituariesEan Tyler Anderson Ean Tyler Anderson, 19, of Mt. Pleasant, died Feb. 9, 2007 in Booneville. He was employed with Macon RD Landscaping. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 11 at Slayden Baptist Church, where he was a member. Bro. David Bishop officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He leaves his parents, Gordan and Deidre Anderson of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Trey Anderson of Mt. Pleasant; and grandparents, Larry and Mary Anderson of Mt. Pleasant. John L. Ford John L. Ford, 71, of Potts Camp, died Feb. 6, 2007 at his home. He was the widower of Dorothy Louise Smith Ford and a farmer. Services were held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 9 at Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, where he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Bro. Jon Vasquez officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He leaves two sons, Johnny Merl Ford, Jimmy Kent Ford, both of Potts Camp; a daughter, Dorothy Carolyn Mardis of Potts Camp; a sister, Gladys Rhynes of Potts Camp; and a granddaughter. Mary Jane Husbands Mary Jane Husbands, 71, of Hickory Flat, died Feb. 6, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Services were held at Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Burial was in the church cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She leaves her husband, James A. Husbands, two sons, Sam Smith of Potts Camp, Kennth E. Husbands of Hickory Flat; a brother, Ellis Smith of Byhalia and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky G. Husbands, Lonnie A. Husbands, and a sister, Dorthy L. Ford. Joe Glen Mayes Joe Glen Mayes, 66, of Byhalia, died Feb. 4. He was a Baptist and a truck driver with Vickers Dist. Trans. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 9 at Byhalia Cemetery. Bro. Glen Lovelace officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He leaves his wife, Patricia Mayes; two sons, Robert Boswood of Southaven, Raymond Boswood of Byhalia; his parents, Lloyd and Ruth Williams of Franklin, Ky.; and a granddaughter Alyssa Nicole Boswood. Grady Lamar Waddle Grady Lamar Waddle, 54, of Mt. Pleasant, died Feb. 2, 2007 at his home. He was a Baptist, a carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. Services were held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 5 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Carey Chapel Cemetery. He leaves his wife, Sissy Parker Waddle; two sons, Jason Waddle of Moscow, Tenn., Brian Waddle and wife Amanda of Independence; his mother, Margaret Waddle of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, George Waddle of Holly Springs, Jimmy Waddle of Potts Camp; five sisters, Betty McCarver of Independence, Sandra West of Potts Camp, Scarlett Nichols of Potts Camp, Shenia Rhodes of Mt. Pleasant, Carolyn Inmon of Potts Camp; and four grandchildren, Jeremy Ganey, Taylor Ganey, Brandon Waddle and Bradlee Waddle. He was preceded in death by his father, Zack Waddle; and brother, Donnie Waddle. Ruth Cox Wells Ruth Cox Wells, 88, of Hickory Flat, died Feb. 5, 2007 at Trinity Mission. She was the widow of James M. Wells. She was a cashier. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 7 at First United Methodist Church of Hickory Flat, where she was a member. Burial was in McKay Cemetery in Hickory Flat. Bro. Brownie Tohill officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She leaves a sister, Elizabeth Rowland of Hickory Flat; and a nephew, Allen Rowland of Waterford. She was preceded in death by her son, James M. Wells Jr. Report News:
