Police wrap up investigations Holly Springs Police Chief Robert Pearson released the names of individuals arrested following the conclusion of several investigations. Ralph Craine, 47, of Holly Springs, was arrested last week on an aggravated assault charge stemming from an incident that occurred in January this year on Spring Street, Pearson said. Martell Sanchez Belfour, 17, of Holly Springs, was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, he said. Officers stopped Belfour on a traffic-related incident in December 2006 and discovered several bags of marijuana in his possession, Pearson said. Angela Brewer, 33, of Holly Springs, was arrested and bound over to the grand jury. Brewer is charged with 16 counts of forgery, he said. Joshua Chapman, 21, of Ashland, was arrested in Memphis February 4 and is awaiting extradition to Holly Springs to face charges in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Highway 7 South, Pearson said. “We are also requesting the assistance of the community in helping the police department locate individuals who are currently wanted for their participation in various incidents in Holly Springs over the past few months,” Pearson said. “The department is investigating the whereabouts of Anthony Bell, 39, of Holly Springs, for questioning on felony shoplifting charges. Also, Calvin Lamont Richards, 30, of Holly Springs, is being sought for his alleged involvement in a domestic violence/aggravated assault incident that occurred when Richards allegedly stabbed a female victim. And Tennial Richard, 29, of Holly Springs, is currently a suspect and is being sought by the Holly Springs Police Department for his alleged participation in an armed robbery in December 2006.” Holly Springs police officers responded to the following incidents last week including shoplifting (2); identity theft (2); simple assault (5); armed robbery (1); property damage/vehicle (2); counterfeiting (1); disturbance (1); burglary (1); malicious mischief (1); and possession of a controlled substance (2).
