OK,
it could probably be proven
that I am not smarter than a fifth grader.
Remember
a couple of columns back I allowed that I thought the “Sink the
Bismarck” tune was a fictitious song about a fictitious ship. Well, it
was pointed out that the German warship was all too real and did indeed
terrorize the high seas.

Holly Springs in tourney at Senatobia
The
Northwest Classic tips off Thursday with two Marshall County schools
participating. The tournament has been moved to Senatobia High School.
The
schedule for Thursday includes:
- 10 a.m. - South Panola girls vs. Independence.
- 11:30 a.m. - South Panola boys vs. Independence.
- 1 p.m. - H.W. Byers girls vs. North Panola.
- 2:30 p.m. - Hernando boys vs. North Panola.
- 4 p.m. - Holly Springs girls vs. Horn Lake.
- 5:30 p.m. - Holly Springs boys vs. Horn Lake.
- 7 p.m. - Coldwater girls vs. Hickory Flat.
- 8:30 p.m. - H.W. Byers boys vs. Coldwater.
The
tournament continues Friday and Saturday.
