Hawks, Lady Indians win county clashes

Pats keep on rolling

Some years ago there was a hit ballad by the name of “Sink The Bismarck.” If my memory serves me right, this was a fictitious song about a fictitious German ship. Don’t ask me how many years ago, because I don’t know. I just know that it was a catchy tune somewhat like “North To Alaska.” I believe that both of these tunes were written and sung by Johnny Horton.

Holly High splits with Coldwater

The Coldwater Lady Cougars roared into town with their undefeated record (8-0) this season and left with it still intact. The Coldwater teams have been downgraded to Class 1A since their 2005 championship run at “The Big House.”
