I’m like the little boy who learned all about Jesus’s birthday in Sunday school. When he entered a store full of pretty decorations and toys, he said, “Where is Baby Jesus?” Carey Chapel & Mt. Pleasant News Carey Chapel Baptist to present Christmas cantata Sunday; children’s Christmas program to be held at First Baptist Carey Chapel Baptist Church will present their Christmas cantata, “The Love of God at Christmas,” on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 5 p.m. Afterward, a Christmas fellowship will be held. Snow Lake News Monthly breakfast and potluck rescheduled for Saturday A great big “Thank You” goes out to the Thomas family, Kim, Ray and Jerry of Lamar for their gift to Snow Lakers of a float for last week’s Christmas parade. Their unselfish contribution is greatly appreciated and we welcome their efforts. Without their work in putting together a float at just about the last minute, Snow Lake wouldn’t have had representation in the parade. They are members of our volunteer fire department. Thanks, again Thomas family! Holly Springs News Get well wishes extended to Henderson Milan Missionary Society of Hopewell No. 1 sponsored a questions and answer period on Women in the Bible during worship hour Sunday, Dec. 2. Henderson Milan underwent surgery Tuesday at Marshall County Alliance Healthcare System. |
