December 13

• REPUBLICAN CLUB Christmas Party will be held at Annie’s Restaurant, 7 p.m. Speaker will be Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney. Entertainment by Sonny Jackson and his band. Reservations required, call 901-488-5700.

• PTA MEETING at the Holly Springs Intermediate School library, 6 p.m.

• “Share Our Joy” Christmas food drive for Baptist Children’s Village of Independence. Bring non-perishable food, paper products, hygiene items, etc. Sponsored by Friendship Assembly of God, Victoria. To drop off items, contact the church office at 838-4000 between 12 noon - 4 p.m.

December 15

• Musical Dec. 15, 7 p.m. presented by the Newson Singers at Kimbrough Chapel Church, with the Male Chorus, Luellen Gospel Singers and many more.

December 16

• “THE CHRISTMAS OFFERING” a musical drama will be presented at First Baptist Church of Potts Camp, 10:30 a.m.

• CHRISTMAS CANTATA The Community Choir of Holly Springs performs the cantata “I Believe He’s The Son of God” at St. Joseph Church, 305 E. Van Dorn, 5 p.m. Admission is free.

• “We Believe” Christmas concert presented by the adult and children’s choirs of Slayden Baptist Church, 2534 Hwy. 72, Lamar, Sun., Dec. 16, 6:30 p.m. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.

• CHRISTMAS CONCERT will be held at The Heritage Apostolic Church, 6:30 p.m., followed by a time of fellowship with old fashioned Christmas cookies, candies and punch.

December 19

• Friendship Christian Academy presents an evening you will never forget, “Love Came in a Manger” with the grand finale “Nothing Compares To This.” Come early to ensure seating.

• Friendship Christian Academy will close in observance of the Christmas holidays Dec. 19 -Jan. 1 and will resume classes Jan. 2.
