MA swept Heritage Academy of Columbus Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 21, at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, home of the Grizzlies.

Lamar, local talent visit Oxford

Kenny Dawkins, Justin Nabors, Currye Todd and Lamar Sanders had a homecoming November 16.

The four Lamar University basketball players, from Marshall and Benton counties, visited Oxford and Ole Miss as the Cardinals faced the Rebels. A large group was on hand to show their support for the local guys.

The hardwood at Tupelo was not all that kind to the Holly High Hawks and Lady Hawks last week. The teams were in Tupelo on Monday, Nov. 19, to contest the 5A school in a non-district tilt.
