MEETING The Friends of the Marshall County Library will host the Holly
Springs Dulcimer Club at their regular meeting, Dec. 4. They have
very graciously agreed to present a program of songs played on their
beautiful traditional instruments. The public is invited to attend this
free program at 12 noon in the meeting room. The Friends business
meeting will begin at 11:30 and that is open to the public, as well.
Come early and see how much enjoyment the Friends of the Library get

Concert Spend the evening with Zebedee R. Jones and the world renowned
Rust College A’Cappella Choir in their annual Christmas concert on
Sunday, December 9, at 6 p.m. in the Morehouse Auditorium, Doxey
Center. The tenth annual concert will feature “The Messiah” by George
Frederic Handel. “The Messiah” is an oratorio based on a libretto of
another artist’s work made famous by Handel. The libretto comprises
three acts with several scenes, with the most famous movement being the
“Hallelujah” chorus. The concert, sponsored by the Rust College Lyceum
Series, is free and open to the public. •
Singing and Dedication Service will be held at Friendship Baptist
Church, Hernando Road, with Bro. Jim Hudson of Grey Creek Baptist
Church, Coldwater, as guest speaker. The Fishers of Men will be guest
singers. Fellowship dinner at noon with singing afterwards. Bro.
