Byhalia only Region 3 team left By CLAUDE VINSON Head coach Devin Rutherford and his Byhalia Indians saw the playoff road ahead a bit clearer after last Friday night at home. After that round one, the Indians are the only representatives left from Region 3. Cardinals win third at state The Potts Camp men’s cross country team ended its season Saturday, Nov. 3, by finishing third overall at the State 1-A Meet in Clinton. The end-of-the-year meet was run on the difficult Choctaw Trails (5K) course on the campus of Mississippi College. Mt. Pleasant takes home four trophies The Mt. County rivals split By CLAUDE VINSON The Byhalia Indians and Lady Indians had a full house on hand to welcome their cross county rival, H.W. Byers, Tuesday night of last week. This would be the first meeting this season between the two. Potts Camp Lady Cardinals defeat Hickory Flat, Center Hill, Vardaman By BARRY BURLESON The Potts Camp Lady Cardinals won two squeakers and the other game by 39 points last week. Meucci Ranch - home of a world champion Meucci Ranch of Byhalia, now boasts as the home of 2007 Open Weanling World Champion Halter Colt and Open Weanling World Champion halter filly! This took place on November 1 at the Will Rogers Memorial Stadium in Ft. Worth, Tx. |
