Ladies of Mt. Pleasant Baptist enjoy night out
Homecoming was a big success at First Baptist Mt. Pleasant Sunday, Oct. 21. A large crowd attended. There was plenty of food and fellowship. The Inmans gospel singers, Eddie and Johnny Dunn and daughters sang in the afternoon.

Daylight Savings Time will end this coming weekend, at 2 a.m., Sunday morning, the 4th of November. Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night. The “Fall Back” hour will also bring the bonus of an extra hour of sleep, for those who enjoy it.

Henderson and Mary Milan celebrate 56th anniversary
Mrs. Willie Mae DeBerry celebrated her 90th birthday, Oct. 13 at Annie’s Restaurant. Dr. Roy Lee DeBerry was the master of ceremony from Jackson State University. All of her children and grandchildren were present. Friends said good things about her. She is a member of Hopewell No. 1. We are wishing her many more birthdays.
