Holly Springs police make five arrests Holly Springs police arrested five on various
charges and are investigating the burglary of a commercial building at
the industrial park, according to chief Robert Pearson. Boyce
O. Waller, 36, of Holly Springs, was arrested and charged with breaking
and entering of a residence in the 200 block of Van Dorn Avenue on
Monday, October 22, Pearson said. A man from Coldwater, Thomas Nawton Latimer, 39, was arrested on prescription fraud Tuesday, October 23, he said. Two were arrested and charged with domestic violence. Robert L. Leasure, 64, of Holly Springs, was arrested October 23 and charged with felony domestic violence, Pearson said. Carl
Taylor, aka Colavito A. Moneyham, 47, of Holly Springs, was arrested
Thursday, October 25, and charged with domestic violence/aggravated
assault, he said. Robert H. Brown, 27, of Holly Springs, was arrested Tuesday, October 23, and charged with aggravated assault, Pearson said. Officers
are investigating a burglary of a commercial building in the 500 block
of Industrial Park Drive. A Rubin Air air conditioning recovery system,
a 25-inch television, a magnet drill, portal power hydraulic jack, hand
tools and Skil saws were taken from the building. Officers
responded to 21 other activities for the week ending October 29,
including: driving while license suspended (7); expired license/no
license (3); no proof of insurance (5); driving under the influence
(2); disregard for traffic devices (1); driving without headlights (1);
improper equipment (1); simple assault (2); trespassing (1); malicious
mischief (1); disorderly conduct (1); and shoplifting (1). Anyone
