• Fall festival First Southern Baptist Church in Victoria, Oct. 20, with a hayride and wienie roast at 6 p.m. for children 12 and under.

• AARP Safe Driving Class will be held at the Marshall County Library, 109 E. Gholson Ave. in Holly Springs on October 22-23, 9:30 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. each day. To register for this class call 662-252-3823 by October 19. A material fee will be payable prior to the start of the first day. Class size will be limited to 15 students.

• COMMUNITY FORUM The Holly Springs Pilot Club will have a community forum at the Multi-Purpose Center for Project Lifesaver.

• Benefit fish fry for Marshall County Habitat for Humanity, at the VFW, Tues., Oct. 23, 5-7 p.m. Sheriff Dickerson is preparing the fish. Tickets available from Habitat members or you may pay at the door. Eat-in or carry-out. Proceeds benefit the home building fund for Marshall County Habitat.

•The Coalition for Children and Public Education presents an old-time town meeting about the future of public education in Marshall County, 6:30 p.m., Byhalia High School. • PAGEANT The Latter Rain Church of Holly Springs will sponsor their annual Little Mr. and Miss Latter Rain Pageant on Saturday, October 27 at 7:30 p.m. The community is invited and refreshments will be served.
