vehicle registration sticker - with a few exceptions - will get a new
tag. The magnolia blossom on the old tag is replaced with the Biloxi
lighthouse, long recognized as a landmark of the Mississippi Gulf Coast,
a sentinel erected in 1848.

City police
charge one with assault
The Holly Springs Police Department made
an arrest last week and responded to an assortment of calls.
Eskline Ford, 28, of Holly Springs, was
arrested Tuesday, Oct. 2, on aggravated assault charges, according to
police chief Robert Pearson.
Officers also responded to the following
activities last week – expired license/no driver’s
license, two; no proof of insurance, two; domestic violence-simple assault,
one; child restraint, two; seatbelt violation, one; trespassing, one;
malicious mischief, one; petit larceny, one; resisting arrest, one;
disorderly conduct, one; contributing to the delinquency of a minor,
one.

crime committed in the Holly Springs/Marshall County area is urged to

Law enforcement officers do not
need your name, just your information. The caller may be entitled to

Sheriff’s
department makes sexual battery, drug arrests

area were arrested and charged with sexual battery of juveniles and
several were arrested in Potts Camp on illegal drug charges, according
to Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
