• SPAGHETTI SUPPER Marshall Academy parents of the senior class of 2008 are hosting a spaghetti supper for Project Graduation. Dinner consists of spaghetti, salad, bread, tea and a homemade dessert. • PUBLIC SQUARE PRAYER RALLY. At noon, on the Holly Springs Courthouse Square, the parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church will join with similar groups all across the Americas in a nationwide Prayer on the Public Square for repentance, conversion and peace. The October 13th Prayer Rally commemorates the 90th anniversary of the 1917 Fatima apparitions and the Miracle of the Dancing Sun.

• READING TOUR Ida B. Wells-Barnett Museum presents An Evening of Diversity. Take a reading tour around the world -- stories, rhymes, and chants from many lands and people.
