Sites chosen for north tournament The following schools have been selected to host the North Mississippi basketball tournament, Feb. 22-24. The top three teams from each site advance to the state championships in Jackson. (Note: A school must reach the playoffs in order to serve as host.) Class 2A Boys: Baldwyn. Rodeo set for weekend at fairgrounds The Deep South Championship Rodeo, produced by J Bar B Rodeo Co., is coming to the Marshall County Fairgrounds Arena in Holly Springs this weekend. Two-hour shows will be held each night - Friday, Jan. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 27 - starting at 7 p.m. The arena is a heated facility on Highway 7 North. Everyone is invited to bring a friend and join the fun. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $6 for children. Children 3 and under are admitted free.
