rodeo
Mykala Hyatt had the fourth best time in barrel racing against
many opponents, in her first rodeo at the Benton County Fair.
She won first place in walk and trot, Buckaroo, youth barrels
and the open arena race at the Tippah County Fair horse show.
She is 12 years old and the daughter of Stephanie Cook and Jeff

Tournament Saturday.
The Lady Rebels knocked off H.W. Byers
15-0, Byhalia 11-2, Potts Camp 20-4 and Ashland 13-0 for the championship
trophy.

Hamilton
gets hole in one at Kirkwood
On September 12, Ron Hamilton of Waterford,
formerly of Olive Branch, aced the Par 3, #12 hole (117 yards) at Kirkwood
National using his Callaway Approach Wedge and a Noodle ball. The hole
in one was witnessed by Donald “Duck” Holland of Waterford.

A Hunter Safety Class will be given Oct.
6, 8 a.m. until, at Marshall Co. Fairgrounds, Hwy. 7 N., Holly Springs.
Participants must be at least 10 years of age and bring a Social Security
