| Police
make several arrests
The Holly Springs Police Department released
the names of four arrested for the week ending September 17.
Amber Ferris, 26, of Byhalia, was arrested
Monday, September 10, and charged with grand larceny, according to chief
Robert Pearson. Tim Jackson, 45, of Holly Springs was arrested Friday,
September 14, and charged with grand larceny.
Cortez Delbridge, 24, of Holly Springs
was arrested Saturday, September 15, and charged with possession of
a controlled substance, according to Pearson. And Wayne Riles, 21, of
Holly Springs, was arrested Sunday, September 16, on an outstanding
warrant charging uttering forgery.
The department is investigating an auto
burglary reported in the 500 block of Craft Street Tuesday, September
11. Pearson said a business owner said four tires and rims were taken
from a 1990 black Chevy pickup.
Other citations written for the week
included: driving while license suspended (6); expired license/no driver’s
license (1); no proof of insurance (2); reckless driving (1); driving
under the influence (1); simple assault (1); stalking (1); and leaving
the scene of an accident (1).

your information, Pearson said. The caller may be entitled to a reward
of up to $1,000.
