• MEETING Lessye Lee Davis 4-H Club junior
members will meet at the Marshall County Library, 6 p.m. Parents of
students at the Holly Springs Primary School -- if you have completed
an enrollment form for your child to join 4-H, please bring your child
to this meeting.

• EXHIBIT DAY The Lessye Lee Davis 4-H Club,
junior and senior members’ arts and crafts will be on display
on the courthouse lawn during the Extension Service exhibit day,
beginning at 9 a.m.
Saturday
• BAKE SALE Lessye Lee Davis 4-H Club will host
their annual bake sale at Wal-Mart, beginning at 9 a.m.
• MEETING The Marshall Republican Club will
have their regular monthly meeting, Sat., 10 a.m. at the Marshall
County Library in Holly Springs. Edward Overall, candidate for District
5 Supervisor will be the speaker. The public is invited.
• Canine Obedience classes will begin at 9
a.m., Saturday, September 15, at the Holly Springs Fire Department. The
six-week class offered by K-9 Search One teaches dogs basic good
manners, and how to respond to simple commands. Bring dog, choke chain
collar, leash, and rabies/distemper/parvo virus shot records to first
